Child Labor Law Violation

Okay, okay. Just wait one second, mommy and daddy. I know that I am growing up fast but that doesn't necessarily mean that I am ready for chores! So, it started out to be an amazing day. Sunday school, church, lunch and even naptime was fine. It was after my nap when it all began to go downhill. From the picture above you can see me in action. Working very hard to clean up my mess from snack time so I can go to the park.

I guess they felt somewhat guilty so they gave me a small break so that I could rehydrate before going to the park. Gees, thanks guys.

Park Routine..

So, for about the last two or three months mommy and I have gone to the park pretty much on a daily basis if the weather allows. Above is a video of our routine that was shot earlier today. The routine goes a little something like this:

1. We go to the park and play. I usually site an airplane and a few birds while I am there and scream out "birdie, birdie" or "airpwane, airpwane" until I get my mom's attention.

2. After swinging and going down the slide 100 times, we usuall will walk around and pick up sticks, leaves or whatever else we can find along the way.

3. After all of that is done, mommy will usually tell me it is time to go and I then begin to cry and throw myself on the ground in protest.

4. Mommy then picks me up while I am screaming and crying and we leave. That's the routine.

Can't get enough!

Wow! What a great year at the rodeo it was. Since I was very young last year during the rodeo, mommy and daddy agreed that I should not go, so they went without me. This year, however, they have learned a lot more about parenting and have gotten the clue that I might want to be included in the action. Duh.

I could not believe that all these months that I have been looking at animals and working hard to learn all of the names would finally pay off!! Well it did and I saw horsies, sheep, pigs, cows, bulls, etc. I saw them run, jump up in the air and get a rope on their heads. That was a little odd...oh well. The only bummer was that mommy made me eat raisans instead of popcorn like everyone else. Mom, just get over yourself....I am going to eat junk food one day whether I get it from you or from Pappa A. I bet he would give me junk food. Hmmmm. I bet Mawl and Mimi would, too. Heck, I think you are the only Debbie Downer.......xo

Houston Livestock show 2010

Yee Haw, cowboys and cowgirls! Yes mommy took me to the Houston Livestock show for the very first time. Above is me with my friend Ethan and his mommy riding the metro rail to the event. Was a little upset that she didn't dress me in cowboy boots and a cute little cowboy hat but at least she took me.

Can you believe it? I RODE MY FIRST HORSEY! Mommy didn't have too much faith in me. I know this because I heard her ask the man in charge if she could have her money back if I was too scared to to ride. HAHAHA! I showed her. Not only did I ride the horsey, I cried when I had to get off.

For those of you that know me well, know that I love bunnies. (Hince the reason why I always have my pink bunny with me at all times) So as we were walking around mommy and Chia spotted a real live bunny and took me to get a closer look. I became so excited in the above pic, that I tried to pick it up and give it kisses. Mean mommy stopped me from getting to the bunny and I gave her the dirtiest look I could possibly muster.

Here I am with mommy, chia, Ethan and his mommy taking one last picture opportunity before heading home. Let's just say naptime was much needed after this adventure!!
