I love summer

Lordy. lordy look who's 30! This past friday night mommy and daddy surprised Chia by showing up at the resturant they were going to the dinner at and I heard she was super shocked to see them. Mommy said it was a great time and that it was great to be there to celebrate. Happy birthday, Chia!

On saturday the whole family drove to Galveston to attend a "Fun in the Sun" party with some of their friends. The Clapps had everyone out to their beach house to play, eat and have a good time. Let's just say I HAVE NEVER HAD MORE FUN IN MY LIFE!

I now know what kind of birthay party I am having this year...... A swimming party! Since it was so hot last year, I am going to talk mommy and daddy into buying one of these contraptions...Sold!

Scarlett's Six Month Check-Up

Better late than never! Below are Scarlett's six month stats from over a week ago. Daddy has always had a running joke about us girls, stating that I will be tall when I grow up and look like my mommy. Now we are all starting to believe that Scarlett might be short like mommy and look like daddy. Hmmm. Guess time will tell!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy / Happy Birthday, Abigail

Happy Father's day, daddy! Cheers to another special day dedicated to all the fathers and grandfathers that have filled our life with love, dedication and Godly influence. Scarlett and I would like to send a special thanks to our daddy, Pappa A, Paw Paw and Pappa Bear. You are all loved and cherished.

This Father's day we headed to Dallas to spend time with BB, Pappa A, JJ, Uncle Moises and Abigail. This weekend proved special for a few reasons, one being the celebration of my cousin's first birthday. All I can say is that the entire weekend was one big party! Above is daddy opening his gifts.

Above is my daddy having a special moment with my sissy. Since Scarlett was teething and not feeling well for most of saturday, daddy spent the majority of the day holding her. Above is sissy smiling at daddy. I decided I would let Scarlett have a little undivided attention since she wasn't feeling well. But don't be fooled, for the next day I broke up the love fest.

Above is the very first picture of my grandparents with all of their grandchildren together. It was Pappa A's request and as you can see above, it did not go as planned. Oh well, I thought it was pretty fitting, as this is sort of how this family is together. We always have 20 things going on at one time.

Above is miss Abigail with her mommy and daddy right before she blew out the candle. It is hard to believe that a year ago mommy recieved a phone call stating that JJ was being admitted into the hospital to have her baby. Boy, time flies fast when your having fun. I loved playing with my cousin over the weekend and cant wait to spend more time with her soon. We all love Abigail and are so blessed she is a part of our family.

Mommy thought this was the cutest shot ever, especially since they all look pretty close to the same size! I would have to agree, however was a little confused as to why I couldn't join in on the fun??

Rest...Rest...Rest

In case you were wondering, Muah (Scarlett Grace) has taken over the blog. Yes mam, miss Ella. You snooze, you lose. There is a new sheriff in town and it's not you. LOL!

On a more serious note, I would like to express how different it was not having my big sister around this past weekend. At first mommy found me looking around and just waiting for her to come around the corner ready to tackle me. I have come to expect a sufficating hug, pull of the hair, finger up my nose, etc. This weekend was very different. Not only did I have some personal space but I had mommy and daddy all to myself! I felt as if I had died and gone to heaven. I had their undivided attention almost every second of the day and I was so happy. The only thing I would have changed was being able to attend my cousin's second birthday party. I did miss out on that front but am sure Bella and I will make up for it later!

Meanwhile, Ella flew to South Carolina with Maw to attend her cousin's second birthday party. I heard it was the birthday party of the year with "Fancy Nancy"as the theme. They had a jam packed weekend full of fun activities that Aunt Gabby planned for them. They went to Sesame Street Live, attended a Children's Museum, celebrated Bella's birthday and even found time to go to the movies. Wow, Aunt Gabby is my super hero. Can't wait to see them all really soon! Happy Birthday to my sweet cousin, Bella. I love you very much!
