My daddy took over the the blog for the first time and posted his first video. Guess who's the main attraction... Ella, who else runs this show. I need more of my grandparents to comeover to make more movies with me.

Practice Makes Perfect!

Hey Fam,
Yesterday I had a blast practicing my new rollover skills. Especially at bathtime. So after taking my usual daily bath my mom wrapped me up in my towl and placed me on the floor so she could put on my diaper. Well I had a different agenda. While my mommy and was looking for the lotion I decided that it was a good time to rollover. Here I am modeling. Cute, huh?

Weekend @ BB and Papa A's

Well, I had a blast this past weekend and am sad to see it end. I spent the last 4 days at BB and Papa A's house in Dallas and had such a good time. There was so much going on and I got so much undivided attention. Papa A entertained me most of the time with his funny faces and weird laugh. I talked to him a lot and told him how much I wish he and BB would come around more often. Oh, and BB went shopping for me while I was there and got me the cutest clothes! Thank you, BB!

The other exciting news was that I officially rolled all the way over by myself on Saturday night. It was late and my parents and BB were watching a movie. During the movie I became bored and decided to entertain myself. Ten minutes later I rolled over. After I figured out what I had done, I looked at BB and my mommy and smiled really big like I knew I had done something great. I was so excited. Independence here I come!!

Mastered and Moving On!

As you can see in the above photo, I have officially mastered the art of tummy time. Thank goodness. Know all I need to do is finish learning how to completely roll over on my back. I am getting really close but for some reason my shoulder gets in the way! I wish it would move..

Adventure at Aunt Linda's House

Well, Aunt Linda decided that it was time that I get some Vitaman D so she took me in her back yard and sang to me. We talked about all kinds of things. They were private things that I can't talk about so ....

Here I am taking one of my first sink baths. Yippeee! It was sorta fun. Fun until Aunt Linda and my mommy started making fun of how big my are.

Trying to Rollover?

So, the routine is that while my parents are eating dinner in the evening they always include me by putting me on a blanket on the floor by them so that I don't get lonely. They are constantly looking down at me to make sure I am happy. They often make funny faces at me and talk to me. After dinner they then get up and clean up the kitchen while I stay on the floor and wait for them to finish. So as my parents were cleaning the kitchen last night I became bored and decided that I was going to wiggle my way towards them. Here I am trying to make my way off the blanket and out of the dining room. At one point the blanket had completly covered my face and all you could see was the blanket moving.

I like to roll on my side and wiggle backwards. I think I made some progress. What do you think?

Great Aunt Linda!

This is my Great Aunt Linda and also the person whom took care of my mommy before she gave birth to me... Thank you Aunt Linda! I'm sure my mommy was needing a lot of help as she was pretty miserable, I hear. Mommy told me that you rubbed her feet everyday and gave her support when she became emotional. She told me that her and my daddy had to evacuate after hurricaine Ike so they came to see you in New Braunfels! Wow, I bet that was stressful.. They told me that you and Uncle Jim were so sweet to them and made them feel right at home.

Big People Food!

So, last night mommy decided to break out the big people food and see how I do. Before embarking on a new experiment, Mommy pulled out the baby gear, otherwise known as "bibs". I then saw her mixing some stuff in a bowl and before I knew it she was putting this slimy stuff on a spoon and it was headed towards my mouth. I then opened my mouth and attempted to taste the slime. Yuk! As soon as it hit my tongue I spit it right back out and made a discusted face. I can't believe she would make me eat this slop! Why can't I just drink my milk? If that wasn't bad enough, she got another spoonful and made a second attempt. YUUUUUKKK! Ok, that's enough. I had it by this point! Waaaaa.

After mom finally put the spoon down and agreed not to make me eat more slop I decided to take one last pic! Is it just me or does every baby have to eat this slime....or what mom calls "rice cereal"?

Super Bowl 2009

Hey Fam! Hope you all had as much fun celebrating the Super Bowl as I did. Here I am taking a break from all the attention to get a picture for my parents. BORING! I had so much fun at Bill and Kate's house. Kate is so much fun and gives me so much attention... I hung out with the girls while the guys acted totally barbarian in front of the TV. What in the world were they yelling about?

Here I am with Bill and Kate's dog, Tucker. He checked on me every so often to make sure I was still in the same place. After getting used to me, Tucker began getting playful and wanting me to play with him. Little does he know how much I wish could get up and do just that... Just wait for about Six more months, Tucker!
