Halloween/ Red Raider Football

We celebrated Scarlett's first Halloween this year and I have to say it was an absolute blast! As you can see above, I was Jasmine and Scarlett was a baby bumble bee. Mommy and daddy dressed in their usual hippie gear, which I thought was a little weird. By the way, what in the world is a hippie?

Here we are with Maw, right in the midst of gather our candy loot! It was a ton of fun and can't wait for next year.

 Above is a picture of daddy and Scarlett on their way to Lubbock two weekends ago to attend the Texas vs. Texas Tech football game. This was a very special trip for all, as it was my very FIRST Texas Tech football game. Papa Bear loaded us all up and off we went. I will never forget this football game, as I know how special the university is to my grandfather and parents.

The rest of the week we spent with family and friends catching up and playing at Mimi's house. Above is me eating a snack. I begged Mimi to sit with me until I finished. She is such a sucker. I love it!

On Sunday I was lucky enough to see my Papa A, as he was in town for various reasons. We played, played and played some more.

Here is my sissy with our cousin, Kennadi, who came to visit for the day. You see, K and I are BFFs and love each other so very much. I am so grateful to be able to grow up with her and share so many good times. I love you, K!

Above is miss Scarlet with paw paw. It took a little while for her to warm up to him, but once she did it was off to the races!

Here is sissy taking a head dive into her favorite toy, the Bassonett. Who knew this would be everyone's favorite play toy. Mimi just didn't know what a great buy it was when she bought it. Good job, mimi!

Above is Ava Grace and myself taking a photo opp. I just love this girl. This is mommy's best friend's daughter, whom we got to see on our last day of the trip.

I was so excited to be able to meet one of my mommy and daddy's favorite people and the reason my parents got together. Mommy introduced me to THE Dr. Kitty Harris. She was so charming and I loved getting to play with all her little gadgets.

Lastly, this is me on the Texas Tech campus where my parents spent a lot of time back in the day. Fun trip with fun people. xox

Fall has arrived

 

Disney World 2012

This was one of the most memorable and cherished trips I have ever taken in my short four years of life. I had the pleasure of going to Disney World with my daddy, papa bear, bella bear, uncle KC, aunt gabby, margeux and meyer. It was the trip of a lifetime and I am so grateful to papa bear for making the trip so special. I also want to thank my aunt gabby for all of her hard work in making the trip so special. Thank you, aunt gabby!

 

 

Above is me all done up after going to the Bibbiti Bobbiti salon for a day of girly pampering! I loved my outfit and makeup so much that I did not change until after I arrived home later in the day.

The rest of the pictures were taken the day before I left for Disney World. The only downside to going on such an amazing trip was leaving my sissy and mommy behind. It was really hard on my mommy, in particular, to deal with the fact that she wouldn't see my face light up upon my arrival. She said the most important thing was that I would still get to go and my sissy would be safe, which was most important to her. Next time, sissy, it will be both of us enjoying Disney World together!

 

Growing and growing

Miss Scarlett Grace has grown right before our very eyes. She has been a ray of sunshine for our family and we could not be more grateful to have her. In nine short months she has gone through more than most of us physically go through in a lifetime. As her mother, I have learned so much from her. Scarlett has taught me about the gift of "living in the moment." She has taught me how to truly be present in the here and now. I never knew what a gift it could be until now.

Scarlett reminds me on a daily basis to smile. As her mother I realize I am partial. With that said, she has the amazing ability to smile at me and melt my heart like good old fashioned butter! She is happy all the time and is incredibly patient. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have two amazing little girls. Life doesn't get any better than this...period.

Happy 4th birthday, Miss Ella Faith!

Cannot believe I am four years old! Thank you to all the people that were a part of my special weekend. It was the best.
