 Today was one of the most beautiful days of the year in Houston. It was very unusual and mommy and I took advantage of it.

Happy Easter 2011

Happy Easter, family and friends! What a wonderful Easter it was. This year we went to Aunt Linda and Uncle Jim's house for some family fun. But, before we got on the road, papa bear came over to see me and to give me my Easter present. You will never guess what it was... I was a huge pink bunny! Above, is a pic of me hugging it so tight.

 Once we arrived, I had an unexpected person there waiting for me. It was kristen!! It was so so good to see her and we spent literally hours on the tree swing in the backyard and visiting.

 Here is an even larger group that came in later that night. Uncle Wayne, Cassie, Liz and Lilli came into town to help celebrate and I could not have been happier. I was so greatful to have someone closer to my age to play with. I cannot tell you how cool I thought Lilli was. I thought she was so cool that I copied her every move!

What a great weekend it was!!

Nothing a powered donut can't fix....

 For those of you that know me well are aware that my approved food list is pretty short. For breakfast I have cereal, waffles or yogart. Lunch is usually chicken nuggets, fruit, veggies or mac and cheese. Dinner is usually a hodge podge of foods my mommy feeds me in order to get all food groups in. Well, today was a new day. Mommy surprised me by introducing me to powered donuts as a special treat. All I have to say is that, as far as I'm concerned, I could live off these until the end of time. No joke. Five donuts went down the pipe this morning in a span of 10 minutes. I was a little wired, to say the least...

I have arrived in the land of happiness.

Abigail Ledezma....we are ready for you!

 This weekend mommy and chia went to Arkansas to witness and be a part of a special day for their sister, Jenn. This weekend was Jenn's baby shower and they would have not missed it for anything in the world. Mommy said it was very special to get to share moments like these and to see JJ pregnant. She said JJ was glowing and looked beautiful. We love her so much and are so proud to call her and Uncle Moises our family.

 Mommy said she was also so glad to get a bb fix and to see Papa A and the rest of the clan. As you can see above, bb is ready for Abby to come. She is one of the best grandmothers in the world and I, Abby and Reece are lucky to have her.....oh, and she gives us chocolate.

 One of the things that tickled mommy was the type of gifts that JJ recieved. Before the shower, JJ had been talking about the fact that Abigail would not be a girly girl. Fast forward to opening gifts. Mommy said that the clothes could not have been more girly. Mommy smiled as she told daddy and I this story...

At Random...

 So, these pics are a little random but blog worthy. Above is a picture of me copying what my mommy does in shower to clean her face. While taking a bath last night I thought...what the hay..I will give it a try. I did it and it scared me to death. Mommy got a good laugh!

Here I am with both of my teachers. To the left is Ms. Soliz and to the right is Mrs. Nunley. I have to say they are the sweetest teachers ever! It has been a wonderful school year and I will be sad to say to good bye to them next month. The good part is that I will start summer camp the following week and will be able to meet new friends!

I had to throw in this random video. My parents never imagined I would be able to climb their incredibly large/high bed. Boy did I show them!

Besties....Harper and Ella Faith!

Yesterday one of my besties came over for a playdate and so our mommies could visit and I cannot tell you how excited I was to see my girlfriend, Harper! I couldn't hardly believe how big she had become within just a few weeks. We had so much fun and I was able to see all her new skills. Wow, she must have been practicing non-stop, as I saw her rollover, sit up in her bumbo, among other things.

She was the most beautiful baby I have ever seen. I honestly think she should try out for the Gerber commercial!

Aunt Amy was so sweet to let me pretend to be her mommy and feed her rice cereal. Not gonna lie, it was a little messy but Harper and I both got a good laugh out of it. Our mommies had a blast watching us interact with each other and by the sound our their laughter, you would have thought Harper and I were comedians!

This picture was taken right before they had to go home. I had such a good time and I can't wait to see Harper again soon. We love her and her mommy so so so much!!!!

Dressing herself, big girl panties and shrubs....

 

All I can say is that yesterday proved to be a big test for my mommy as to how much patience she really has. It started as a wonderful day at home, hanging out and playing. When it came time to get dressed I insisted on doing it myself, as I am a big girl now and want to establish my independence. I don't know how adults do it. This proved to be the most frustrating task I have ever taken on. Above you can see my end result. Mommy praised me anyways and helped me out.

After attempting to dress myself, I insisted that it was time to put on my big girl Dora panties. Mommy asked me if I was sure I was ready, and I insisted that I was. Reluctantly, my mommy allowed me to wear my Dora panties and out we went to the front yard so mommy could work on the shrubs. While she worked, I playing with my sidewalk chalk and had a blast.
After about 30 minutes mommy noticed that my pants looked wet. She asked me if I went pee pee in my pants and I said no. She took me in anyways and layed me down to take off my pants. To her surprise I had diahrrea poo poo everywhere. It got all over mommy, the white carpet, etc. Mommy calmly called daddy into the room and rest is history....
Lesson for the day, put a towel down when potty training your child and be ready for anything to happen!!!

Daddy needs a Doctor....That's me!

 For those of you that don't already know, daddy had a bike accident on thursday night that left him with a broken collarbone, possible torn ligaments in his shoulder and several strawberries. It was a little scary to see my daddy hurting so badly but mommy and daddy both assurred me that he would be ok. When I woke up friday morning I was a little confused, as I had just seen him the night before when he tucked me into bed and he was just fine. Mommy had to explain to me that daddy had gone to ride his bike after putting me to bed in attempt to get some extra training in for his upcoming MS 150 ride.
She then explained to me that while daddy was riding down a hill he hit a varment and flew over the handle bars. Poor daddy. I really tried as hard as I could to make him feel better.

Here I am taking daddy's temperature. I then came to the conclusion that he did have a temp and needed some medicine.

After giving him medicine I decided I better listen to his heart...

After playing doctor I decided daddy needed some distraction from feeling bad. Here we are building a tent on the bed. I had so much fun with him. Hope you feel better, Daddy.
