Merry Christmas and thank you, Santa!

This is what I saw first thing on Christmas morning. Wow, how did Santa get all those toys thru that tiny chimney?

So, I will say that I love all of my gifts that santa brought me but my absolute favorite gift was from all of my grandparents.

Lastly, Uncle Wayne came to town as he was passing thru. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and lots of laughs!

The Polar Express

Ho, ho, ho. Merry Christmas to all my family and friends that we could not be with for Christmas this year. I would say that I am terribly sad......but getting to go on a real Choo Choo train really did help distract me from missing you. Above, you can see my cousins Jena, Paige, Kennadi and I getting ready to board the Polar Express for some fun.

Here is a look at the train before dusk. I was so magical. We rode to the North pole and back in an hour. Can you believe that? That train was fast.

Here I am with mommy, singing Jingle Bells, drinking hot cocoa and waiting for Santa to make his appearance.

During the ride, Kennadi and I thought it would be fun to try and climb over the seats. Doesn't get any more fun than this!

My absolute favorite part was getting to hug Santa Claus himself. I hugged him so tight that I thought my mommy was going to have to pry me off of him.

Thanks Aunt Randa for the great idea! We love you so much.

Finally a backyard!!!!

Happy THANKSgiving

Boy, do I have so much to be greatful for this year. Since this was the first Thanksgiving that I was able to understand, somewhat, why we were all getting together, I took full advantage of it by spending lots of time playing and loving on my family. This year I was able to go to my Great Aunt Linda's house in New Braunfels, Tx and see the place I was born. I was told the story about how mommy and daddy had come here to have me, due to the hurricaine. Wow, what a story I will have to tell my friends one day.

Aunt Linda's house was like an amusement park. Above, you can see me swinging from a tree. This was the very first time I learned to swing by myself and it was amazing.

Above, you can see Mikey attempting to show me how to play cards. He was trying to teach me how to throw my cards out on the table. My first few cards flew off the table, but since everyone was laughing when I did this, I decided to continue throwing them off the table in order to get a laugh. I succeeded.

Here I am with my friend, Samantha, pushing this sweet elderly man in a wheel chair. He was so sweet to us and told us we could wheel him anywhere we wanted him to go. Wow, now that is laid back.

Here I am with mommy after I had thrown a fit because she wouldn't let me have any dessert. Now what kind of mother wouldn't let their child have chocolate on Thanksgiving day? Exactly my point. Nonetheless, I won and was able to enjoy my own slice of chocolate pie. Nanny nanny boo boo, momma.

To end our lovely trip, Great Aunt Linda organized a scavenger hunt for me and in my buck I had all kinds of goodies. Now that is what I call a good time. Thank you Aunt Linda, Uncle Jim, Maw and Mikey for making this Thanksgiving so special. And to all of my loved ones that I wasn't able to see, we definately missed you!!!

Family and College Football

Tonight mommy and daddy had family over to hang out and watch football. We had pizza delivered and I was the center of attention for most of the night. I was so glad to see my Papa Bear and to be able to have someone to serve coffee and food to from my very own kitchen set. Papa Bear let me put stickers all over him and even listened to me sing some of the songs I have learned at school. He thought they were fantastic.

Katie and greg also suprised me and also came to hang out. At first I acted a little shy towards Katie, but I was just a little sad because I had not seen her in a few weeks. The real truth is that I wish I could see them both every day!!

Mr. & Mrs. Ledezma

This clip should say it all. My aunt JJ is officially a married woman. I also can officially call Moises, Uncle Moises! We had the best time and I was so honored to be the flower girl. It was a big job, but I was up for the task. I believe I did pretty well and didn't even cause a scene during the wedding. The only mistake I made was forgetting to toss the petals down the aisle. Mommy said she was so proud of me and that it didn't matter.

JJ was the most beautiful bride and I could not be happier for her. For those that do not know her, she is the kindest, most loving, warm, fun and loyal person you will ever meet. I am so lucky to have her as an aunt and look forward to many more memories!

Stella & Dot.....Jewelry!

What a fun night night my mommy had doing what she never gets to do. That would be admiring jewelry, vistiting with friends and drinking cocktails. I was so jealous that she was helping throw a party and her own baby girl wasn't invited. ?? Nonetheless, I am glad she was able to take a break, even though I wasn't involved.

Mommy said the jewelry was gorgeous and I have to agree.

Here I am before mommy left for the party. I was trying to convince her to take me with her and I obviously failed. I had my skinny jeans and peep toe shoes on, too.

Ella loves Eli...

This evening mommy, daddy and I went over to the Todd's house to hang out and let the little ones get together and play. Their son, Eli, is in my class at school and we always have a great time together. What we didn't know was that their house was any little girls dream! It was absolutley amazing. They had a trampoline, swinngs, rockwall, doll house, etc. I just hope mommy and daddy catch all the hints I gave them about wanting all of those "things" at my new home. Just hope they got it!

Here is myself kissing Eli on the lips! Yes, the lips. Our parents were just as shocked as I was.. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Todd for having my family over to play and eat scrumptous pizza. We had a blast and hope to get together soon!

Our New Home

Since many of mommy and daddy's friends and family have been anxious to see the new house, mommy decided to post some pics for them to see. I cannot tell you how excited I am and cannot wait to move to the burbs! Now I will be able to see all of my friends and family more often. Can't wait...

This view you see above is what sealed the deal for mommy. Mommy said she loved the fact that she can be in the kitchen cooking and keep her eye on me in the backyard, no matter where I am.

At the top of these stairs is my very own bedroom and playroom. Can we say party time?

Here is the best part, everyone. My very own backyard to run, jump, dig and whatever I want to do. December 6, please hurry up.

Happy Halloween 2010

Happy halloween, family and friends! My mommy's camara was back into full swing and I was a trick or treating little princess. Or should I say dorthy. This year's Halloween was fun filled with parties, trick or treating and lots of sweets. On friday night mommy decided to start a new tradition of carving pumpkins with the family. Little did she know that I was not into the "gutting of the pumpkin". That was discusting and I refused to help.

On Saturday, mommy, daddy and I went to a Halloween/birthday party for my friend Cal. It was so much fun. They had all the bells and whistles a little girl could ask for.

Ugh, mom. Can we stop the mushy stuff. I am not three months old anymore.

On our last pit stop, we went to my cousin Katie's house. Katie, Greg, Chia and Ry Ry were all there to greet me. It was superb!!!

"Mommy, hold you." It means pick me up now.

"Ella, do you want to go tee in the potty?" "No, diaper change, mommy."

"I'm not in the mood, momma."

"Mommy, boobies hurt." She means boo boo but refuses to be corrected.

Big girl bed

I first have to say that I am upset with my mommy for not taking a picture of this Kodak moment. Tonight daddy came home from school and proceeded to go upstairs and take apart my crib, per mommy's request. I wasn't sure what in the world he was doing at first. All I knew was that my bed was being taken apart. Little did I know that he was turning it into a BIG GIRL BED!!!!!

As soon as he was finished, my mommy, daddy, chia and mimi began cheering loudly. I looked at them like they were looney until they explained that I was a big girl and could now sleep in a big girl bed like everyone else. Wow. I felt so confused and excited at the same time. I then smiled and walked over and jumped right in. Huh. This could work out to my advantage. I could get out, stall on going to sleep or simply play at the drop of a hat.

When it was time to go to sleep, mommy and I went through our usual night time routine. Upon finishing, mommy tucked me in bed and we said our prayers. Little did she know that she wasn't getting off that easy. Noooo maam. I then asked her if she would "lay down, mommy". Translation...lay down with me. She did and I was so excited. After patting my back and leaving, I proceeded to get up and see if I could open the door. I did this twice. Little did I know that my mommy could see me on the monitor and was holding the outside of the door closed. All in all, it wasn't too bad. I ended up falling asleep and making my parents very proud.

Flu mist is evil!!

There are no pictures to describe how hard this last week has been for me, mommy, daddy and even Izzyman. All of the fun started last friday when my mommy took me to get my two year check up. Yes, that included shots and my first flu vaccine. (flu mist) It was not fun and I cried for a few minutes, but was up and playing in no time. I felt so great that my mommy let me spend the night with Maw so that they could go on a date.

All was well until the next morning when my mommy came to pick me up and I was complaining of my legs being sore from the shots, as well as running a low grade fever. Mommy took me home and gave me some tylenal and we went about the rest of our day. That night mommy's cousin (Katie and Greg) invited us over for dinner and it was yummy. After being there for about thirty minutes, I began feeling really, really bad. My mommy felt of my forhead, only to find out that I was burning up. Mommy and daddy took me home and put me in a lukewarm bath, in an effort to get my temperature down. After getting me out and wrapping me up, a few seconds later I became unresponsive. My parents began panicking and saw that I was not breathing and became stiff. Daddy called 911 and took me to the emergency room right away. Long story short, I had a febrile seizure. It scared me and everyone else to death. Two days later I had another one.

Moral of the story to all mommies out there, be careful with the flu mist. It is a live virus, which can give the virus to you. That was what happened and it was my mommy's worst nightmare. My mommy said she would never do that again and I am so glad. I had a high fever for five days, had two seizures and got the flu. Wheewww. Glad this week is almost over...

JJ/Moises bridal shower and Maw's 1st bi-weekly family night!

Wow, what a busy weekend we had. Mommy, daddy, chia and Ry ry loaded up and drove to BB and Pappa's house to help my aunt JJ celebrate her upcoming wedding. All I know was it was a party and I was invited....which was all I cared about. I had so much fun eating all kinds of sweets that BB would sneak to me when my mommy wasn't looking. I met JJ's new horse, I mean puppy, Ginger, and I thought she was facinating. In total, we had eight adults and five dogs under one roof. It was interesting.

Here I am with Uncle Moises. We bonded instantly. My mommy wasn't too happy that he was trying to get me to say, "Gig Em, aggies" but she did become satified when I corrected him by putting my guns up and saying "Go Texas Tech"! Nice try, Moises....

Here pappa and I are looking at the beautiful view in the backyard. If I could just get my parents to move here......then I could have the biggest yard in the whole wide world....

And here we are at Maw's 1st bi-weekly family night. Mommy and Maw decided that they wanted to get the families together twice a month, since everyone is always on the go. I thought this was a great idea and would give me an opportunity to see some of my favorite people all in one place. Mikey cooked his usual gourmet meal and it was superb. I was able to see Jessie, Kolby and both boyfriends.

So, after eating are delicious meal, I decided I wanted to play teacher. I told maw, my student, that it was naptime and go lay down and go to sleep. She did, and I decided I would lay down with her. Maw is so much fun to play with..

Great weekend with friends and family! JJ and Moises, we love you and can't wait for the wedding!

Happy Birthday Ella!

Can you believe another year has come and gone? Not me. I can officially say that I am two years old. That is plural....meaning more than one......meaning I am very very big girl. Yearssssssss with an S. This year mommy and daddy decided to keep the birthday celebration low profile since we have so much going on right now. That was fine with me, as I still was able to partake in all the fun festivities. Above you can see daddy and I make my birthday cake and he let me to some of the work... Don't tell mommy....as those of you that know her well know that she is a clean freak and would get really nervous about this.

Licking the batter was my personal favorite. Wow, this was so much fun that I would even need to make the cake. I would have been just fine licking the batter until the end of time. Daddy nixed that idea but it was fun while it lasted.

Here I am with Chi Chia going down the slide at Chucky Cheese. This has to be my most favorite spot in the whole world, besides a cruise ship.

Aunt Amy came over to finish celebrating with us and brought over my new BFF, Harper. She is three weeks old and I couldn't hardly keep my hands off her. Above you can see me giving her a kiss. It was wonderful to finally meet her and actually look at her. Before, all I could see is Amy's round tummy and I couldn't figure out how a baby was in there.

About this time I began to get a little cranky. I love Harper and think she is adorable and all......but my mommy holding her instead of me was not in my plan at all. I was not a happy camper and began acting up so that she would give Harper back to her momma so that I could have mine back. Sorry Harper, she's mine....

Alisha is married.........finally!

I have to say that my chi chia was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. Not sure what a bride is, but she is was a pretty one. I have to say that this was the most eventful weekend I have ever experienced in my lifetime. It was exciting because all of my extended family came to Houston and for a short time I had most of my favorite people in one place. The weekend was centered around Chia and Ry Ry, and it was fun. I can offically call Ry Ry, Uncle Ry Ry.

Here I am with my daddy at the beginning of the festivities, the rehearsal. Daddy was officially "in charge" of me while mommy rehearsed and I pretty much got away with murder. It was fun. I ran around all over the place, like a toddler would do.

Here we are at the Rehearsal Dinner. I couldn't think of a better way to spend time with my family then over chips and queso. The dinner was a hit and I loved seeing Kennadi, BB, Pappa, JJ, We Wah, Katie, Greg, Mimi, Paw Paw and others. Mommy said that I was not being nice to Kennadi when she shared her bracelets with me and I didn't want to give them back. Mom, I thought she said I could have them....

Here is mommy with her sisters for their infamous pose they like to do. Not sure what the pinky finger out is about but ...whatever works for them. Chia sure does look like a beautiful bride to be!!!!!

Yes, here I am. All gussied up and ready to walk down the aisle. I felt like a princess and acted like one, too. Mommy and daddy said I was the prettiest little girl they have ever laid eyes on. I think they are a little partial but not going to correct them....

Cougars, ponys and Red Raiders do not mix that well from what others tell me. SMU, U of H and Texas Tech are all good schools but Texas Tech is by far the leader of the group. At least that's what my parents tell me.
