Memorial Weekend..Robertson style!

School's officially out for summer and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than to spend time with family. Since New Braunfels is not too far from home we decided to pack our bags and hit the road. I was surrounded by some of my favorite people, including my cousin Reecie.

 Scarlett's very first trip to New Braunfels was a hit. She loved being in a different place and looking at all the outdoor sights and sounds.

This was a picture my mommy couldn't pass up posting. She thought it was hilarious the way Maw was holding her. The funny part was that Scarlett didn't mind. Another confirmation that Scarlett and my personalities are very different.... As long as you feed her, change her diaper and love on her, she is a happy camper.

Good bye, Ms. Payne & Ms. Katiya

What a wild ride this past school year has been. I have made new friends, gained new skills and added a new family member all within nine months. I owe so much to Ms. Payne and Ms. Katya for making the school year at Chapelwood so incredibly special. These teachers were the most loving, fun, silly and patient people you will ever meet. With that said, I would like to dedicate this post to them.

Above is me at the 80's themed end of year school party. I was rocking the crimped hair and had the flashy outfit to match. We had pizza, drinks and lots of laughs. I sure am going to miss all of my friends this summer but am relieved to know that I will see most of them at summer camp. 

Saying goodbye to my teachers and friends will be difficult, however saying goodbye to Max will take the cake. Max has been one of my best friends this school year and I cannot imagine not seeing him everyday. Mommy says that I have what is called "puppy love" for the very first time. Call it what you want, mommy. He's the best! Cheers to a wonderful school year, friends, teachers and Max. :)

Big girl bike, baby!

The picture above and below should say it all. Yes, I am a big girl with a big girl bike and you better stay out of my way or you might get ran over.

Daddy has been trying to teach me how to ride my big girl bike since I recieved it from Santa Claus for Christmas. I wouldn't even get near it for fear my daddy might make me try to ride it. This last week I decided it was time to try. Since my mommy has been so preoccupied with miss Scarlett these last few weeks, I was ready for a challenge. (And to get out of the house.)

Above is mommy on one of her first outings in ages! She was so excited to join two of her family friend's bridal showers, Kolby and Jessica. Mommy had such a good time and was able to see lots of friends she had not been able to see in quite a while. Congrats to both girls!
