Ella's Moves

So, this morning we decided to have a little music time. Here is what happened. A dancer in the making!

Mommy and Daddy time...FINALLY!

I would like to announce that my parents finally let me stay with my mawl for for more than 24 hours. In fact, they let me stay for 3 whole nights while they took a trip to Ft. Lauderdale for some alone time. We both won. They won and I won. When they picked me up from Mawls, they were so excited to see me and I them...

Since they spent most of their time at the beach, they took lots of weird pics of my daddy being completely covered in sand...Hmm....They are weird!

Pulling up to Stand!

So, in the picture above I was pulling up to a standing position for the first time ever! I still can't believe my mommy captured it before I started crying because I didn't know how to get back down. This happened yesterday afternoon and I was so excited about my new skill that I began practicing everywhere I went. I even practiced in the bathtub last night until I was told "no no"!

Vegas Baby!

Can you believe it! I actually went to Las Vegas, Nevada this past weekend for my Pappa A's 60th suprise birthday party. It was a total shock to him. It was awesome! I loved seeing the look on his face. Here I am in my Vegas outfit at dinner with all of Pappa A's family and friends.

Here I am with the fam on the hotel bed for a fun picture opportunity. Not sure why we were on the bed. It wasn't night night time. Hmmm..?

Here is my mommy and Aunt Jennifer. If you look closely you can see Pappa A on the front of their T-Shirts. Isn't that funny?

Here is mommy and Aunt Alisha. They had a fun time together and took me to the pool for some fun in the sun almost every day we were their. Good times!! Happy 60th, Pappa A!

Boats, Water & Fun

I don't know what else to say other than WOW! This weekend we went to the lake with family and friends and I experienced so many "firsts"! I took my first boat ride, swam in the lake and took my first nap on a boat. I had a wonderful time. The only real problem I had was getting use to wearing a life jacket. Now that was a bit of a challenge at first. If you look in the above picture, I felt I was eating the top buckle and I couldn't figure out how to get it out of my face. I had a little crying session, until my parents finally took it off and put another one on. I was a happy girl then.

Here I am in my daddy's lap continuing to figure out how to get the buckle out of my face. So..I decided to use my tongue.

Here I am on the verge of going to sleep on the boat. The boat ride was so relaxing!

This is daddy and Mawl on the inner tube. Aren't they cute?

Here is me and mawl, again. We are two peas in a pod. Great weekend, great fun and great company. What could be better?

Little Scavenger!

Hey, I didn't know crawling could be so much fun. Here I am after I snuck into the bathroom while mom wasn't looking. Found this little basket on the ground and decided it was a toy and turned it over to get all the goodies out. Mom then came in and started laughing. I didn't know what was so funny but thought, "oh well" and joined in and started laughing too.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th everyone. Hope you had as great a day as I did. We went to mommy's cousin's house to party, party, party. We had a great time eating fresh brisket and all kinds of sugary treats. It was incredibly festive with lots of great company!

Milking it for all I can

Have any of you been sick before? It is horrible! Mommy took me to the doctor on monday to see why I have been crying so much. It turned out that I had a ear infection. Duh, mommy. I was trying to tell you I didn't feel good. Since that time I have had my mommy jumping thru hoops to make sure I have been comfortable. In the above pic, I am giving my mom the "poor pitiful me" face. It worked... Good to know.

Here I am trying to get my favorite muppet off the chair so I can play with it. My Papa bear gave it to me.

Yea, I succeeded and got all of the other stuffed animals in the process!!
