ARKANSAS

Yes, this is me and Papa eating ice cream. Mommy and I flew to Ft. Smith to visit my. I repeat, my Papa and BB. Sure hope their is no other grandchildren because I can tell you right now that I will not do well with that.
Here I am with my Aunt JJ. My aunt JJ grove up from Dallas to spend the night with me. Now if that isn't love I don't know what love is. Thank you, JJ. You are the best. I love you so much!

Since mommy doesn't know how to cook very well I asked BB to show me. BB even let me use my own utensils to help spread the ketchup over the meatloaf. Now if we can just get my mom to learn...Hmmm. For some odd reason I don't see that happening.

I saved the best pic for last. BB let me lick the batter for papa's brownies. Let me tell you....It doesn't get any better than that. Now if I could just get my mommy and daddy to move to Arkansas.

band-aide......BAND-AID!

So, this morning mommy took me to the doctor to get my 15mth shots. Yes, I know I am 16 mths but when I went to my 15mth check-up I was sick and they would not give me my shots at that time. We went through the usual routine of waiting for our name to be called and going into the room only to wait longer for the doctor to come in and see me.

Little did I know that I would get two shots...one on each thigh. I laid down and mommy held my hands while the nurse literally stabbed me in both legs. I thought to myself, what in the world did I do to deserve that? Anyways, I immediatley began crying and reached for my mom in an attempt to save me from the evil witch. She did, thank goodness, and we were out of there in a flash. After leaving I soon became distracted and calmed down.

Fast forward about three hours, I was at home playing with my legos until mommy scooped me up to change my diaper. She laid me down and pulled my pants down in order to change me. As she did this I looked at my legs and noticed both band-aids on my legs. Immediately I began screaming crying as if I was getting my shots all over again. Mommy did not understand what was happening until she saw me pointing to the band-aids. She offered to take them off but I objected. So in an effort to make me happy she stood me up and pulled my pants up. As soon as she did so I stopped crying.

Moral of the story, don't show me my band-aids. It is traumatizing. Its like the saying goes, "out of sight, out of mind...."
